In January of 2015, the
Office of Catholic Schools had the first-ever second collection to kick off Catholic Schools Week. The collection supports the Champions of Catholic Education Fund, which is dedicated to helping more families afford the cost of Catholic education.
Our Catholic schools are committed to educating the whole child by providing programs and services to enrich the academic platform and support the spiritual development of the student in family life, friendships, and as a member of society. Our goal is to make our academically excellent, Catholic education accessible to all students. The funds collected during the second collection this weekend, for the Champions of Catholic Education Fund, will help provide tuition support to families who are unable to afford tuition, but are committed to keeping their children in a Catholic school.
