Ahead of the expected winter weather arriving in Southeast Louisiana overnight, several Catholic schools located in the Archdiocese of New Orleans have announced closure and virtual learning plans for their students. The following is a list of announced closures as of 4:30 pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Any updates to this list will be made as they become available.

Jefferson Parish
St. Therese Academy, Metairie - campus closed tomorrow. Virtual learning plans in effect. Families should check communications from the school for more information.


Orleans Parish
De La Salle High School, New Orleans – closed tomorrow. Virtual learning plans in effect.

Annunciation, Bogalusa - Due to the possibility of icy roads in the early morning tomorrow, January 21, 2022, Annunciation will have a late start. Students may arrive beginning at 9:30, and class will begin at 10:00. Warm free dress is allowed.
