Ursuline Academy of New Orleans seeks a Short Term Substitute for our Toddler Two Class effective January 2021. The Academy is looking for an individual who is dynamic, innovative, and current in their field. The qualified candidate will work full-time instructing an Early Childhood class.

Accountant – Parishes and Grammar Schools
Reports to: Director of Compliance and Parish Accounting
Function:
The Accountant performs multiple duties related to the functions of the Parishes and Grammar Schools of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. She/he is responsible for preparing and examining accounting records including reconciliation of accounts and preparing monthly financials.
Know/How:
This position requires an action-oriented person with the ability to balance multiple tasks and function both independently and as part of a team. This individual should have 1) strong communication skills, both oral and written, 2) good organizational skills, 3) attention to detail, 4) commitment to high quality work, 5) basic understanding of GAAP Accounting, and 6) computer knowledge (especially with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) and QuickBooks).
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience; minimum one year previous bookkeeping or public accounting experience; intermediate level of computer literacy.

Essential Functions:
Ursuline Academy of New Orleans seeks a Director of Early Learning Center for the 2021-2022 school year. The Director of Early Childhood oversees all aspects of Ursuline Academy’s Soeur Teresita Rivet, OSU Early Childhood Learning Center, which is currently comprised of a Toddler Age 1 program through Kindergarten.
This position develops and fosters Early Childhood programming in keeping with the Reggio Emilia-inspired approach to child development. This position is responsible for overseeing all Early Childhood educational programs; including curriculum, professional development, assessment, evaluation, and quality assurance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Model the Ursuline values of service, courtesy, loyalty and courage by attitude and action. Integrate the Ursuline mission and core values into all activities.
• Contribute to the mission and standards of the school by actively promoting and developing the Reggio Emilia-inspired approach to learning in a way that fosters the Academy’s unique culture and programmatic offerings.
• Work with Early Childhood faculty, set Early Childhood curriculum, objectives, assessments, and policies according to the needs of a range of learners.
Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or related field.
• 5 years of experience working with children in an early childhood or related setting.
• Familiarity with Louisiana State Licensing Requirements.
Qualification Preferences:
• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in director/educational leadership role is preferred.
• Experience with Reggio Emilia approach is strongly preferred.
